I remember reading a thread about the JT56 lightening turbo being dynoed to see what kind of power it can make at various boost pressures (10,12,15,17 psi etc) when it was released a few years ago.
Did this ever happen? I havent seen any new threads on it.
It would be nice to see how it...
You have to realize you won't come close to 450 hp on a upgraded CT pushing 1 bar (14.7 psi).
Looking at numerous dyno graphs, a 57 trim will yield on average ~360 whp at 18psi.
On the other hand you can easily reach ~400 whp at ~15 psi with the SP61GT or JT61GT.
I replaced my super low milleage TEMS with coilovers and never looked back.
It all depends on what your tastes are and what you intend to do with your car. For me I don't care much for comfort and I like a super stiff ride with minimal body roll. Plus I only drive it 1500 miles a year...
Heres a good link to get you started...

Horsepowerfreaks.com pretty much has all your coilover options for the mk3...

Out of these bolt on turbos which ones are both oil and water cooled?
-Boss = Yes, oil + water
-SP = Yes I think?
-JT = No, only oil
-Custom Driftmotion t4 = oil, option for water
-Greddy 20g = Dont know
-Turbonetics = Dont know
Im leaning on the SP61....looking at various dyno...
you have to run 550cc injectors with the lexus afm or you will run lean
or
have some type of fuel controller if your sticking with the 440's(not the safest way to go as the stock aged injectors will really be stressed past fuel cut.
It is also wise to get a wideband once you start changing...
This has been quoted so many times...belongs in its own thread.
Many have wondered what the limits of the MKIII supra are. After years of playing with it and tearing a few down and doing research I decided to write a summary of things I encountered. What you read is my thoughts and in no way...
I'm referring to where the lower intercooler piping hooks up. The ct26 compressor outlet is angled straight down.(90*)
In the pics posted previously the turbonetics compressor oulet was angled differently.
Do you know what I mean?
Are the other bolt on turbos angled like this?
Out of these bolt on turbos which ones have the compressor outlet angled exactly as the ct?
-Boss = Yes
-SP = No
-JT = No
-Custom Driftmotion t4 = ??
-Greddy 20g = ??
-Turbonetics = No
