The stock GTE piston are good for higher horsepower. Maybe if the GE pistons were treated, they might be good. But again getting 300 out of an NA is extremely hard lol. Im thinking after-market pistons and rods and going for a bigger stroke :D

ok, i found a set that a member is selling so I ll probably get those. Is there any way to test them before installing them?

So now its slowly starting to look like a motor lol, but I know need new knock sensors, the ones that where on the motor where really broken so I just kept them on the motor so I dont get any over spray in there. Does anyone know if there is a difference to the sensors?

Ok so today, I reprayed the block, the same color as the oil ban, and I really dont like it. So ill be respraying it once again.

So today I sand blasted the block, doesnt look to bad, and hopefully the enamel with stay on.... here is a pic, Ill probably be painting it tomorrow but i if I do it will be the same color as the oil pan. So let me know what you guys think :) Before After

Idk if I'll be recirculating it yet, but I probably will. But idk yet, but the sqaure mounts do not and I repeat do not work with the 89+ subframe. Trust me I tried. And they do not work together, also to use my old 89+ motor brackets I have to go out and buy longer bolts for the mount brackets...

Got a little BOV from a friend for pretty cheap, so solid piping is also on the to do list.

Mine has no problem but like posted before, put it in 1st, then go to reverse. lol
