Add nitrous. If you aren't hooked then I dunno what to say. The combination of 125-140 octane with a cooling dense charge of -125"f plus adequate fuel and added timing plus extra airflow and built in low pressure and level safeguards of both kits = a street tune and a race tune of +150-300hp.
Then I bet it's the wiper ring then. It's still holding some compression but if you had seen smoke it had to be oil either the wiper ring was letting oil past it and somehow it was holding compression or just the wiper ring.
100psi is driveable as I have a 4runner running one cyllinder at 75psi and another at 100. It's boggy but it's due to a bhg. Sure you might have just blown the gasket due to the heat and deto from high boost?
First, your bov (blow off valve) shouldn't be ran to your actuator. It should go to a vacuum source on your intake manifold. Second, your actuator line should route to the compressor housing fitting or if you have one installed, a boost controller. The fact that the pressure is the pipes is not...
Never once heard of anyone blowing an engine due to an oil cooler. Lower pressure yes, but this equals more flow, consistant oil temps, and reliability.
i honestly think you could get by with a welded diff. Lots of people run them drifting. No problems i have heard of. with 500whp and an extended time period i have no idea.
a strong LSD along with slicks i mean. And if i ran a two step (or when i do) it would be around 4k which i do hit every once in a while. What kind of lsd do you have?
Yes thats what i mean. Difference is, i like freedom, if i want to hit rev limiter i will. That and i think 5000 is kinda high, unless you have slicks and a strong ass lsd that is.
I wouldnt suggest you run it to a speed sensor, unless you ALWAYS want it on. A clutch switch will mount with your pedal brackets, just get one from a supra being parted out or something, thread it in, and you have two wires to play with. Wire an activation switch to operate whenever you want...
ditch the w58 if you have it. I doubt the w58 could even hold a GTE's power, or at least for a decent amount of time. What you need completely to bolt to the r154 is the 1j bellhousing, 1j flywheel, and i strongly suggest new flywheel bolts (even if they are arp's) driftmotion has everything you...
