It only sounds stupid if you don't have the smaller turbo feeding the larger one. In this case people use the smaller turbo to spool up the larger turbo sooner. Diesel twin kits are generally this way. Again stock twins are nice aftermarket twins are nice. Big singles are nice. BUT cfm is cfm...
1uz will be extremely cheaper. You could do a 1uz with 150shot for the same price of the ls1 engine alone. Good luck getting a t56 for a swap included with the ls1 those only come from ws6 firebird and ss camaros and corvettes. Like I said prob 5k for that setup. You could do a twin turbo 1uz...
The smoothest operating high power efi v8s will be anything with a coil pack design. This eliminating the lt1. If you would consider that, pretty much any v8 is on the table.
If you could source a 4.6 dohc from a cobra that would also be an ideal setup. Possibly with 5.4 bottom end? The...
He asked it in an ask an officer forum!!!!!! What a fuc*in idiot!!!! He acted all cocky in an officer forum. Wow. And people wonder why we hate Honda owners more specifically ricers. Not only was he racing past where people were killed for the same thing he was as ignorant to fight it and brag...
The one with a parachute on it. Running 7s. And either a turbo 350 trans or powerglide auto can't remember. Tell me something. Just because you had issues with this doesn't mean it's wrong, how the hell did you know your coils weren't bad? Also my guess is wotm Ryan woons 1600whp 6 speed is...
Yes there is a huge difference. Intake exhaust and ecu made mine lean out on top end. Afpr and fuel dampner delete did little, then when I went walbro went into 10.5:1. I wouldn't suggest anything till you get a wideband and walbro.
An aftermarket ignition system will be stronger when wired parallel to stock and or stand alone systems larger coils or not. So, DLI would be a better route. Or consider an msd dis box if you think you're paying for the name. Iirc, Titan Motorsports runs wasted spark aem with DLI at 1300whp...
Sweet what's the eta on flywheels and r154 adapters? I'd rather not run a v160 adapter with a 1j bellhousing (waste of money) until these recent threads came up I was about to make one.
Ok I think some people are misinformed here. The 90-94 miatas are IMHO the best. Being light cheap and a huge aftermarket support.
From my own experience I have a 91 ford escort gt sitting in my driveway I'm building for a friend of mine and it's not going to be slow. Now point in fact not...
An engine can only flow so much air. Whether one turbo takes all of it or two split it, it's the same amount of power. You can have too small of a turbo and too large of a turbo no matter if there is two or one. Reason for going single is cost, fewer parts is more reliable, and ease of maintenance.
