I believe it's geared towards the aftermarket crowd, not fully intended as an OEM replacement for a bone stock car. it would work, you'd just have to clamp it to the turbo first, then clamp it to the air box.

You will need a restrictor on the oil feed line for a Ball bearing turbo. You do not need the filter though, although it's recommended to have one, but it's up to YOU to keep a close eye on it and the condition it's in. The turbo needs clean oil running through it, thus the need for another...

No, there's filter in the turbo itself IIRC, you need that restrictor. Don't take that off!

John, do you think the grooving will starve the top halve of the rod bearing of oil? Or do you think your oil system setup will provide enough flow to keep the rod floating on a thin layer of oil at all times?

What brand were the old plugs you had? Autolites are a little shorter than what's called for from the factory, they can experience arching with the plug wires, which could lead to the issues you are having, but it doesn't make sense if the plugs you had before were something different...

Another TB to think about, Mustang TB's. They have one flange to fit several sizes that someone would want. They are cheaper than a Q45, come with new TPS, and are super easy to find and don't have to worry if the TB you are getting is going to be 80mm or 90mm because you know what size you'll...

Doubt it, that's cast, it's not going to respond well to welding. I'm no metal expert, but would the welds melt down when the turbo's running all out? You'd be better off sourcing a better condition turbine.
