yea im gonna pick up the tires when i get some new rims. how much is he charging you for the tires?
definitely get some wider rims. its pointless to get 18" rims when they are skinny like that, not to mention they will look funny. i would get some 17x9 or 17x10 for functionality and comfort...
lol... most people sell there cars to get away from it. so u wont have to work on it/fix it. but at least you dont have to spend any more money on it. so i guess its a better relationship
yea i know.... after all the money and time ive put into this build. im running the driftmotion stage IV (action 6 puck). no chatter, engagment issues and its holding up to whatever i through at it... so far
ill have to check out the crank pulley and see if there is any movement.
i see what your saying now. i couldnt really tell from the picture in post #1. so the radiator was bent towards the engine? what condition are the brackets in?
i know steam is a byproduct.... but i picture smoke, like oil heating up too much from excessive friction.
i just know that when i take off my oil cap after driving, nothing comes out
have you checked the main fuse bus (or whatever its called) in the fuse box under the hood? its the bigger blue fuse looking thing. ive popped that one before and it took me a while to figure out that it blew...
im not really sure exactly what ur asking, but just because you think the head looks new, doesnt mean its in good condition. i would just give your machinist everything to inspect it to see what needs to get done.
brian, what wideband you running? did u calibrate it when u first installed it? i dont remember, but do you have a piggyback fuel computer?
my car was doing this for a little bit with the maft pro, but i just had to mess with the tps enrichment on the maft pro
i say rebuild it. if u dont have any true experience with assembling and engine, or dont know anyone with experience who will help you every step of the way...........get a machinist to do all the machine work and assemble the rotating assembly and oil pump bearings. you can do the rest with a...
i have an aftermarket gauge before the thermostat, and the stock gauge (useless) after. the aftermarket gauge reads about 175 F during normal driving. 180 F after a few hard pulls. im running a "godspeed" 3 row with efans and aluminum shroud. not sure what the temps will look like in the...
yes. the force of the impact bent the radiator around the radiator support, compression on the supports side, tension on the engine side, which caused the endtank to separate.
with your next radiator, bend down the radiator support a bit. i did that with my radiator as well as putting some...
thats something i dont like to hear. i have those symptoms but everything else is just fine. rpms drop about 100rpm when i press the clutch in and go back up when i release it.
i only noticed right after i installed a jdm ecu (auto ecu in a manual car), so i figured that had something to do...
i just got one a few weeks ago off of egay. very nice looking radiator. took a bit of modification to make it fit though. i had to bend the lower mounts down because the radiator is a bit tall and it would have hit the hood. the top mounts line up okay, but not perfect... they needed some...
