i dont think higher rpm motors would require higher weight oils, remember that The Formula 1 cars that run at 15,000 RPM and higher use straight 5 and 10 weight oils.
but i also dont know alot about bikes and its very possible that honda has a reason to recommend 50w in its bikes. but that...
i got mine from suprasport over a year ago. i cant remember how much, around 150 ish i think. its not on their site now and its also not on cpracings website so they probably dont make it anymore but you can inquire. http://www.cpracing.ca/
i dont recomend the cpracing rear bar as it mounts...
er.. i could have sworn that 90w gear oil had the same viscosity as 40w motor oil when at 100C. at any rate, the numbers for gear and motor oils are not on the same scale.
ive also been thinking of picking a cover up but for winter storage.
http://www.carcoverworld.com/ has a large selection and several that are cut specifically for the supra. theyre descriptions are good too and its obvious that most of the cheapies are not water proof but the more...
wow. someone actually bought that wing! ive been very curious about it for quite some time but the only pictures ive ever found were from the do-luck site, and they are so small and bad angle that you couldnt tell what it really looked like. then i saw the wing in forza and thought it looked...
for a long while i couldnt decide between the nexus and the defi BF. then defi released the BF in imperial and that about clinched it for me. the defi is 60mm and the faces are just easier to read. the autometers are 52mm and the faces are a bit cluttered. if you want a rainbow of colors...
what he said. i live in seattle, and the current rainstorm is reminding me why i always drop trou for these bad boys. best wet traction you can buy.:squirt-mo
a general rule of thumb to find what weight oil to use is to use whatever gives you 10psi for every 1000rpm. this is a general rule for all cars, not supra specific. each car and each supra will be different depending on age and condition of motor. it can also change depending on your...
the viper gps is not 1200 + 100 per month but is 700ish + 100 per year. also the gps you linked to is 20 per month (240 per year). the viper can be linked to a viper alarm for additional functions like unlock your doors by phone or shut the engine off if cops are chasing the theives (not...
never try to break-in a motor with synthetic. its too slippery and wont let your rings seat. check out http://mototuneusa.com/thanx.htm and read the break-in secrets articles for a detailed explanation.
you can switch to syn anytime after the full breakin period (1500 miles). if the car...
i think the cable is shot on mine. but it could be the lever, i havent really investigated too much. it used to open if i pulled real hard but now not at all. i have to reach in through the hatch and pop the release that way. its slightly better than bending stuff or scratching paint by...
actually its grade school physics. momentum is a funtion of mass. the shift knob doesnt generate anything (you are either trying to make a joke or you are very confused). think of the shifter like a hammer. your arm can swing a heavier hammer just as fast as a light hammer, but the heavier...
i use a greedy heavyweight shift knob. works well for me. the idea is, the shifter has more momentum from gear to gear so you are less likely to miss a shift. also if your shifter rattles or buzzes (previous owner did the sogi mod without the bushings) this will help alot.
