I have seen alot of "my car was stolen" threads , and I found a gps tracker that is not $1200.00 and $100.00 per month. This is $389.00 and 60 bucks a month and it tracks your car in real time. It has to be activated and I wonder if you could activate it only after the car is missing. If so then its a $389.00 lojack system that you can hide anywhere in the car. and I think we all have spent alot more then that on mods.. so its worth getting the car back right? and you can track it yourself on the web. I would like to see 1 person catch the car theif and give them the once over. :evil2:

that's expensive man... you can buy one of those new disney cell phones that are meant to track your kids and stuff that in your dash or something for a lot cheaper.

btw - if the theif is determined to steal your car, he will steal it, i promise you. you will never outsmart the theif. if you want real peace of mind, get really good insurance. my mk3 supra is now insured for $16,000 ;)

costs me an extra $33/mo for the extra $12,000 coverage above blue book value.... blue book is around $4k so my total coverage is around $16,000 now. After I get my paint job restoration, and spend more money, etc I'm going to bump it up to $20,000 .... that's on top of my regular insurance cost though. In total, I pay about $260/mo for 3 cars and 3 drivers with full coverage.

the viper gps is not 1200 + 100 per month but is 700ish + 100 per year. also the gps you linked to is 20 per month (240 per year). the viper can be linked to a viper alarm for additional functions like unlock your doors by phone or shut the engine off if cops are chasing the theives (not likely but would be funny as hell if it happened). after 3 years the viper is actually cheaper than the one you link to and the viper does everything it does and much more. its a nobrainer to me.

i know i may sound like one but i am not a viper dealer.

Cool I did not know the viper one existed.. that is a good deal! . Too bad my electric locks dont work. . That would be great to shut off the car while the police are behind the theives !
