    Backing Out of Supra Community

I just sold my supra, but I'll have another one soon enough..... I didn't have patience to always be tinkering on it, and I didn't have the money to completely go through and build it so it could be reliable. My bike will hold me over for now, but I'll have a supra before too long.

    2008 z06 vette

I would be willing to bet that you are wrong with that statement.... None the less, nice kill quake.... with my set-up, I walked a regular c5 real hard, and his face afterwords was priceless. I can't imagine what was going on inside that guys head as you passed him. When I beat that c5, I...

My 1j vs 06 CBR 600RR from a dig **Vid**

that 600rr should run a low 11. however, it is very difficult to launch a 600, so few people can ride a 600 to a low 11. Bikes don't pull as hard as cars after about 100 mph, so get your car running right and I bet you would reel him in at 130ish

    My First 1JZ Dyno Numbers

use the resister from your 7m (or buy one cheap), and use usdm 2jzgte 550cc injectors. I called around to all the 2jz tuner shops and they all seemed to have a set around. The lowest was $140 from MVP (I believe). Call the following shops..... MVP motorsports sound performance WOTM and...

My first time at the 1320..

Even though it feels like the power falls off, with bpu mods, you should wind it out to redline. I bet you'll run a faster time. One philosophy behind shifting at redline is during your shift (while you are coasting), you will be coasting at a faster rate, covering more ground, and at 99 mph...

duane, did you ever fix your creeping issue? I know you also talked about putting some meth into your car, did that ever materialize?

***Centralia Spring Meet & Greet - May 3rd***

I'll probably be coming. Civic if it's raining, zx14 if it's nice. Let's hope it's nice, I want to see Duane's car again. BTW Duane, I understand you not wanting to drive that in the rain. I couldn't imagine trying to clean every portion of the engine bay due to billions of water spots...

Should I trade my turbo for a non turbo mkIII?

I already own the civic, the question at hand is, would the supra be as reliable as the civic. I'm thinking not, and upkeep and parts are much cheaper on the civic...... although i know my way around a mkiii already....

    injector sizes

the lex afm is 25% bigger, and 550's are 25% bigger then the stock 440's.... that's why it works.

Should I trade my turbo for a non turbo mkIII?

The important thing is, I NEED a reliable car. My civic has been that for me, and it actually doesn't look half bad with the SI wheels. I don't want another Supra that requires so much attention. I put all of my money towards paying off my bike...... I don't like being in this much debt.

Should I trade my turbo for a non turbo mkIII?

Hey everyone, as some of you know, I recently decided to part ways with my 88 mkIII turbo 7m. I sold many of the parts and am now selling the shell. A local supra owner contacted me with an interesting offer. He offered to trade me an 86.5 black (gray interior) supra with a claimed 86k...

Dare to race your Supra against a ZX14?

well i went riding today with a group. we went on hwy 7 towards white pass. there were 4 of us in all, and i had an awesome time. the 14 turns real well, and the others were surprised that the 14 looked so nimble. The added torque is nice because i didn't have to be ringing its neck like the...

Dare to race your Supra against a ZX14?

after reading on a zx forum, I'd have to agree with you. bikes make more power when you ride them harder then the factory encourages. I believe the clutch and tranny needs to be broken in a little, but that is done within a couple hundred miles. Brocks performance (one of the biggest names...

Dare to race your Supra against a ZX14?

haha, when I went into the suzuki dealership, they wanted to finance the entire bike for me at 11% interest on a 6 yr loan. I'm a finance major, and while he was doing all of his fancy talking, I added up all the numbers asked him. Do you know how much I would be paying for this bike over a...

Dare to race your Supra against a ZX14?

It’s also very clear to me you have little to no riding experience. I’ve ridden 600’s, 750’s, 1000’s, Honda blackbird, varius v twin crotch rockets (tl1000, sv650), and my dad has bmw’s spin on a goldwing. I wanted the looks and rideablity of a crotch rocket, but I like to be able to travel...

Dare to race your Supra against a ZX14?

Most of my experience is through racing motocross, however, I've also been riding on the street for a couple years (in only 21). I wanted the bigger machine for comfort on longer rides, plus I'm 6'2. I have a lot of learning to do, but I would consider myself a better than average rider...
