I have no idea how efficent it is, but it must do something or Toyota wouldn't waste time/money fitting it. I think it works like the heat pipe coolers you get on processors on pc's.
My stock 3.73lsd has a cooler on it :wiggle: I have yet to see a pic of a diff that has a cooler like mine on here.
Strange how we got them in the UK, when America has higher ambient temps.

I'm not sure about your lean idle but some of your ptt numbers seem a bit off.
Cruise tps looks high, on my car tps is reading about 0.8 - 0.9
your cruise load is in posative boost 119.67 my cruise load on a flat and leavel road is about 0.7 - 0.8 at 70mph
I know that, just thought I had missed something and he had thrown a 7M back in the hole.
Why did the the 1J come with 370cc injectors being as it makes more power stock for stock? Or did Toyota just way over spec the injectors for the 7M GTE??
Depends alot on your driving style and your hp/torque goals. A well built 7M is a good solid engine than can put down the power and torque for most peoples needs/budget.
I experianced quite the opposit, with the stock FPR and a walbro my car ran very rich. The stock FPR is matched to the flow of the stock pump, if you look at a graph of stock v walbro the walbro flows alot more fuel.
