do 57 trim have stock internals?

When a ct=26 is upgradede to a 57 trim or so, are the internals still stock? Cuz i wanted to buy a stock spec ct-26 rebuild kit and take it locally so i can them rebuild my 57 trim.

As far as I am aware all they do is machine out the housing and fit a larger compressor wheel.

How about asking your rebuilder if it's acceptable to use a stock spec kit. watch,..He'll probaly tell you "no' because he probaly wants to sell you his. which would probaly be stock anyway.

actually, there are rebuilders who use all the garrett t04(e?) internals when upgrading.
