I have one as well, you will like it, very reliable and good spool. Take the actuator rod and check for tension on the wastegate, I had to adjust mine about a full turn tighter to be correct.

You don't want to have an intake pipe diameter that is smaller then the turbo intake because it creates a restriction and possable compressor surge. what kind of BOV do you have, recirc or open? Do you still use your AFM? I may have a cheap intake that will work for you depending on your setup.
If you register it in arizona/oregon before you have to take it to the state ref then I don't think you have to pay the ticket. The main penilty of the ticket besides the fine is that it blocks your registration untill you get it fixed. If it is registered in another state then who cares right...
