I think that in order to change injector drivers you also have to change your ecu to control it, because the fuel map values wouldn't be the same.

On my 88 I have used low impedence denso 550cc's, The part number is 195500-2020 they are the red tops that also came in rx-7's. Your stock injector drivers will not work properly with a high imp. inj. HTH Aaron

Have you replaced the hardware? ie: springs and guides. I have seen that be the problem before.

You can get new ones from toyota, or the cheap fix is to get a tube of clear silicone and go to town.

Usually it is from leaky taillight seals
