Remove the shifter.
you'll need a 14mm socket (and possibly a wrench) a ratchet and a 3 foot drive extension (to reach over the tranny while its lowered from the back.
get a jack, any good floor jack will do. support the weight of the transmission with the jack, unbolt the 4 transmission...
Um ok, so it seems to me that the fitting for the master and slave cylinders are the same, is this true? is the threading the same? the size seems indetical.
here or supraforums.com
its not often that youll find one, but when people with built 7ms decided to go 1j, thn sometimes they part out, but sometimes they try and sell the engine as a whole. keep an eye out on buy and sell forums.
ok sorry but thats probably the least you should worry about.
put in fuel stabilizer, unhook the battery (might as well) put some cardboard under the car incase you leak anything, lock it, put the alarm on, drain the coolant from the radiator and block if its not good (could corrode the insides...
i know theres a difference. i already got one from napa and had to return it cus when i opened it i realised it was a w58 one...and they dont carry any other one... there isnt even a turbo one listed in the electronic parts catalogue...
well the problem is i put a deposit down at a local toyota parts store for the part number 31470-14050 ... so i just basically need to know if im getting screwed. i called him back and he said it says its for turbo.. but ummmm ya
theres no toyota parts number?
because i tried to order one for toyota and for $100 it better be right..,. but he gave me
31470-14050 that as a part number..
and if im not mistaken thats the part number for the w58 release cylinder!?!?! FUCK!
ok... so im trying to find a clutch release (slave) cylinder for an r154... the tsrm only has the part number for the one for the w58. any help here? no parts stores can find it.. erg
