ok besides the obvious ground wires and wiring to the igniton, do you think the tach/windshield wiper problem is something else? also, why is the open current relay or whatever trying to shut my fuel pump off? it does kinda seem like my fuel pump is pumpin too much... and it kinda smells like...

oh, and just to add. when the ignition is at the "on" position, the clicking is consitent and doesnt really stop. i guess it has to do with my fuel pump. but why would my tach pulse at the same time as the wiper blades going, even tho they arent on!? ugh this is so confusing

Ok. so i finished everythign on my 5 speed swap, go to start it. wont click or anything. after alot of fiddlign we got the starter to crank (by charging the battery with jumper cables) but then the engine would crank, but at the same time the tach would pulse up to 2k rpm and the windshield...

no. a blown headgasket is no reason to scrap an engine. unless you want to go turbo and have the money, there is no need. get certigard to put a new gasket on (which you provide from toyota) and tell them to torque the bolts (which you provide, ARP or toyota) to about 72 ft/lbs. then, after...

pressurize the turbo pipes and see if you can hear a leak. get an air compressor, hook it up and hook up a pressure gauge and put about 7 psi and see if you hear any leaks. i dont know exactly how, thats just what i would try and do if i wanted to find a boost leak.

it could be the clutch hydraulic system... make sure you dont got any leaks. have you noticed your pedal getting closer and closer to the floor?

the 7m already is a "stroker" motor... soooo it probably aint gonna hold boost while being stroked more. the bore is 85mm and the stroke is 91mm

they CAN be fast... but they didnt come very fast from the factory. they run mid to high 14's stock

the truly sad thing is that he had JUST got it back from randy doign a turbo swap. he boosted for less than a month i think :( i'm sad for him, but i'll do anything i can to help him get a boosted supra back on the road

the smoke from the exhaust andthe sweet smell kinda tell you its burning coolant... so thats usually a BHG considering you got a used engine in there
