Just replace rod bearings and go ?

I will inspect everything, and eventually replace parts if needed. I just want to have information about whether - I can replace the bearings without taking the whole engine apart ? - If the above answer is yes, can I get the bearings on a level where I can use my current setup and push it...

Just replace rod bearings and go ?

Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice on my 7M engine. I overhauled the engine 30.000kms ago. All new seals, bearings, head gasked. The whole shebang. She ran like a dream up until recently. After placing a 62-2 trim turbo it didn't took the nr 4 rod bearing a long time to die on me. I know that...

    ignition questions

Did you check the basics first? - Check battery and/or replace with a known good one - Temporarily remove TT - Temporarily remove alarm system It realy could be anything, from a broken starter relay up to wrong wiring or just your battery gone bad. Good luck!

    BOV Flutter Sound

What flutter sound is it exactly? A lot of people using an HKS SSQV bov have the 'flutter' problem, which is actually turbo surge due to the bov opening to slow. What BOV are you running?

Testing 62-1 turbo MKIII on a closed road

Testing 62-1 turbo MKIII on a closed road

It's only 2.5". I have a 3" JBLMKIII elbow, and from thereon everthing is 2.5". I actually forgot to take my silencer out so i guess that's not helping also... It's got an LSD. And I got it rebuilt a few years ago. I too noticed that only one wheel is smoking, but maybe could it be due to the...

Testing 62-1 turbo MKIII on a closed road

So the other day my upper intercooler hose came off, due to the increased flow with my ct26 62-1 turbo, and I installed a new big clamp. With a road trip ahead the next day I decided to put it to the test before driving it long and hard. My friend went with me and shot a little vid. Nothing...

Supra spring meeting in the netherlands/germany

Hi Encomiast, a little silly of me to forget to post our meeting on the german board. I'm a member there for years and read there from time to time, but almost never post there. I will crosspost this movie over there and maybe some pictures? Would be cool to have an international meeting...

Supra spring meeting in the netherlands/germany

@TE72, in Germany the truck may overtake one another unless there is some restriction on a specific piece of road. (designated by road signs). While there is no speed restriction for normal cars and motorcycles on most of the freeways (autobahn) in Germany, trucks/lorries can only go 80KM/H...

Supra spring meeting in the netherlands/germany

So we decided on a spring meeting near the German border where there is no speed limit. First we met at a house of one of our members, we drove to the border to gather with all the other cars and we raced a bit on the autobahn. After that we did a nice tour in the netherlands with some quick...
