someone did do pressure tests in the past but he focused more on the hood. looking for the highest negative pressure to find the best place for a vent. i cant remember if he took any numbers on the front. hell i cant even remember his name as hes not around anymore.
wow, this must be the 10th wheel offset question this week.
once again, offset has nothing to do with lip size. you can theoretically have a negative offset and zero lip, and you can have a huge offset and a huge lip. they have nothing to do with each other.
for a 9.5" wheel in the back...
offset is almost always stamped on the wheel. also, offsets have ziltch to do with lip size. unless its a 3-piece. 1 piece wheels will have the same lip in any given dia./width. to get different offsets, they remove material from the hub flange.
245/40-18 is perfect for a 18-8.5" wheel, but...
after checking the available sizes on ADR's website, it seems your rears are a 35mm offset. do they rub at all? looks like they might over big bumps. a little fender rolling could fix that if they do.
i ask because im putting together a wheel offset guide for the mk3 and your rears fall...

wolfies clears are not cheap but imo...
MVP has the pre 89 diamond-cut clear fronts listed on their site. those should include the whole unit. i dont think they look as good as wolfies, but if they are available...
