so im checking the TEWD and i dont see "F" terminal on our alternator. could it be the "IG" (B-Y) wire? so interupting that wire will stop alternator output?
wait. jetjock says feeding the fusebox from the starter is bad. i dont see why.
well ok. there are two ways to do this with a single pole switch.
#1 put alternator/battery on one side of switch and starter/fusebox on the other or
#2 put alternator/starter/battery on one side and...
some plastic split-loom is cheap and should keep it from fraying, but still use grommets anywhere it passes through sheet metal holes.
also, i agree with jetjock. it apears as your switch is wired wrong. just so we understand, your wiring looks like this:
alternator <> breaker <> batt +...
trying to snap out of procrastination mode.
currently started working on battery relocation. if i ever finish that, i will move on to the fuel mods... pump, filter, lines, FPR, etc.
so you have measured and 1 qt is safe. how bout 3 qts? im only margially curious because i have the canton 3qt accusump. its not always 3qts over, in fact it only begins to dump when oil pressure dips below 25psi so basically only at idle. when pressure builds back up it sucks up that 3 qts...
i vote .245" i feel 4g is nothing for a bit more peace of mind. just remember, these are supposed to be designed for daily driver punishment. these are not race pistons were every gram counts. and even with the extra weight, at 304 grams they will still be the second lightest piston available.
the reduced weight might have something to do with the fact that there is material removed low on the piston compaired to the JE/Wiesco/Ross. the JE/Wiesco/Ross all have a full cylinder shape under the wrist pin but the Probe model has a relief cut away on either side under the pin.
edit...
i have a few pictures collected.

i dont have any pics of the Arias or CPs for the 7M. maybe someone else does.
the Probe pistons are looking to be super nice. i cant wait.
you are worrying about rice but you are using the stout hood?!?
as for wings, the only ones i like are the 89+, a whale tail, and the imaginary do-luck wing on forza.
i tryed those speed bleeders on my brakes and still had a hell of a time bleeding em. so i got a power bleeder from motive. much easier. still a one person job and is universal so it will work on most cars and also the clutch.
sorry. i havent installed it yet. ive really been dragging my feet on this project and i have a few other things that still take priority. brakes recently went out on my DD and the clutch is about to give up the ghost any day now. its also got a bad CV joint. i guess its not too bad for a...

im in, as long as you are not asking for the money right away. way too many great group buys lately.:aigo...
if you're new to composites, you should buy the book, "fiberglass & other composite materials" (revised and updated edition) by Forbes Aird. it should easily answer any question you have short of where to buy the raw materials.
any official word on particular glues to use? it will still be awhile before i get around to install but it would be nice to source the glue early.
geeez... when i pulled my fronts off the car i found one with a ghettoized wire harness and the other had its back cup part broken in two. so...
