i bought my car in january for $1k. replaced the tranny... the engine isnt in the best shape... noisy valvetrain... but it doesnt leak oil, doesnt burn oil, doesnt stall, always starts... the only thing is the radiator leaks.. but i have a good one, just waiting til i can get all the coolant...
thats really not that bad at all!! i would probably go with a slightly smaller turbo altogether (there is a gt30r, right? whats the difference in compressor wheel size?) and a slightly smaller a/r....
man i wish i had money :(
you guys realise that any setup you put on the car, unless custom,. is a coil-over shock setup..... a "coilover" is just that, but the spring is perfectly tuned with the shock and they cannot be seperated...
you can achieve the same results with a spring and shock combo... but they would have...
IJ... can you give me a ballpark figure of how long it takes to build 10 psi on a gt35r?
even though im a believer in DBB technology, it's still hard to wrap my head around the fact that a huge turbo CAN spool before 4k rpm.
well.. im looking for people around the BC area who want to participate.. but this forum will be tremendously helpful for finding used parts... i want to do this on a budget... i've got a LOT of stuff to donate to this project already so it'll mostly just be performance stuff i need.
a solid...
well its a nice kill!! its sweet to feel good about your car. but, we don't even know what kind of car this was except that it was blue and possibly had rod knock.
it wont work. if the buyer has to ask that question, then he wont be able to make it work or he would already know that he'd be able to make it work.... by modifying it. because it is diffirent in a few areas than a 5 speed.
i think it would be cool to put together a 7m powered mk2 drag car to go on the show pinks. a fast one could be built relatively inexpensively... completely gutted and stripped of non drag racing required items.
is it possible at all to swap mkIII suspension into an mk2? would that be...
ask somsone whos near it/has access to it to start it up and idle it for about 10 minutes about once a month.. thatl help keep the fluids circulated somewhat frequently. gas stabilizer in the tank, and when you get back do some routine maintenance should be good
the people you are defending can be described in the exact same manner. And they are causing rebellion and treasonous behaviour aswell.
I'm guessing you voted for Bush in 2004?
it sucks to know that the poeople who didnt vote at all made a better choice than you, eh?
well i did one that was smaller in physical size and storage wise (always good for the server)
plus, i had to change something/ basic photography: subjects shouldnt point to the outisde of the picture unless to convey a negative mood.
