ok.. that temp needle being ther means nothing. for all you know, his needle could be off-calibrated and that is in fact where his gauge reads zero. thats how mine is, and i guess you'd assume the same thing if you saw mine.
porsche warranties are well worth it. where BMW and any other company limits the use of the car to daily riving use, porsche warranties vehicles which have been raced and driven to the brink.
the starter is not hard to get at. you just need the proper tools.. hell, if you have just a jack you can unhook the crossmember and drop the tranny a little and use a regular ratchet on it.
go in 5th at low rpm... around 2k rpm... push in the clutch and rev the engine to about 4k rpm or higher then quickly drop the clutch... if the revs drop right back down to 2k when you let go of the pedal then your good... im sure you can guess what would happen if your clutch slips... the rpms...
ya im with IJ on this one.. it is truly a nice car how the fuck could someone neglect them so badly? occassionally i actually get a feeling of rage towards the past owners of my supras
Yes. Responsible people should have the priviledge of bearing a firearm. But not in public unless required or you know you'll require it. And any convicted criminal should not be allowed to own a firearm. if they made that law, it would protect people who wanted them and were responsible enough...
i think it is a pretty fair comparison. although, it's only fair from one perspective: the casual leisure user of both. A gun is and always was manufactured to injure people. That is why they need to be limited in use. A car has more recreational value than a firearm, no doubt... which is why...
a boost leak wouldnt screw up idle man.... uness it was HUGE... im thinking ignition electronics. check and replace everything if neccesary... make sure your CPS (cam position sensor) is functioning properly as well.
ya.. you can just replace them. when i goaftermarket, i'm going to look seriously into tems compatioble performance setups.. i love it. i use it all the time when entering parking lots or going over speedbumps
my car's previous previous owner bottomed out on a curb or a rock or something huge and theres a dent on the frame connectors (i think thats what theyre called) it seems like alot of damage but the car is straight still and it doesnt shift or crab walk.

^^^^ you must have never rode in a car with working TEMS.. it does very much do something. the difference is enough that if im driving with it at normal, i can tell without even looking at the lights or the switch. much much softer and wooshier

amen! somebody who is mature enough to basically brush any negative feelings they have about other members (and their cars) off before they walk in the door.
