I personally dont think a clutchpack lsd would benefit from being driven fast by the wheels, as opposed to being driven by the driveshaft. i have no idea why.. but if you ask me id rather push my supra than tow it if at all possible... this is just because i used to have freinds with DSMs and...
heh... seems likely. the gauge isnt very trusthworthy. at this point you might as well try getting an aftermarket water temp gauge and probe and see if it reads cooler.
the supra is defineately not cheaper, but still a better choice :D and my advice as a fellow canadian, search HIGH and low before you choose a supra. find the absolute best condition one because there are alot of lemons. dont settle for anything less than perfect and youll be the happiest possible.
i would bet $25 that it is wiring/electircal issues. take off all the wiring to the starter and check it.. ANY defects, frayed, corroded ANYTHING and just flat out replace it it costs very little... make sure your positive connection from the battery to the main fuse box is PERFECT CONDITION or...
NASH, MAN..... i forget your real name... adam? err sorry.. but anyway what kinda insulation do you use on the short shifters? would it be possible to make a shifter with the insulator piece right as low to the transmission as possible in order to run it without a shift boot? I've had some ideas...
just you guys wait. 25 years from now the pre-89s will be conidered classics (firs gen mustang), and the 89+ will be considered messed up(secong gen mustangs:P)
man.. removing the fender aint that hard dont let that get in your way. this is a pretty simple solution i'd say. the window is easy too just take off the interior panel on the door (remove the handle first, then remove the screws at the bottom of the door)

I used to respectfully decline my invitation for appreciating drifintg. I'm starting to really dislike drifting. So many good points were raised in this thread. driving stupid on the road on purpose is dumb. therefore probably 70% of all "drifintg" activity is dumb.
