Do you have to run 50/50? Just water and maybe some water wetter would be good. Especially since it is now almost summer. Do you still have the AC and evaporator in there? You could try ducting as well. Make some ducts to direct air to flow through the rad. Possibly cut holes in the front bumper.
The soft rear will allow you to get more traction. It's like drag racing, where you want the car to squat and dig in. Just start with a sway bar upgrade like you said and it will work good.
Mustang Cobra 13 inch brake upgrade is pretty decent. I did that and braided brake lines for my drifting. It's nice when something happens as I press the middle pedal. Come to realize it, something happens when I press every pedal now. Good brakes, new clutch, 2JZGTE swap
If you make your car too stiff you might not like it. I remember when I first got my Stance GR+ coilovers. I adjusted them as low as they would go and close to as stiff as they would go. I had it set super stiff in the front and a tad softer in the rear (but still way too stiff). When I went...
My Stance GR+ can do it all. I drift and I can set them up exactly how I want. But I know that I could make it much softer. They ride really nice. I can tell they are doing the job well. The job of keeping the car planted and dampening bumps. With the adjustments you can make with them, the only...
The rims I have are American Racing Torqlites. They actually were polished from factory. These ones have been painted white with Dupli Color paint. These are 17x8 inch zero offset. Picked them up a while back for 400 bucks from a guy with a Mazda FD. The tires that were on them (in picture) are...
I just did a 2JZGTEvvti swap. I'm not even a mechanic. It's easy enough. I have one code. Code 42 for the vehicle speed sensor because it's not hooked up. I don't want to hook it up because I don't want to be limited to 180km/h. But it does idle a little bit low with that code. Also I didn't...
Put in a support for my intake pipe. Installed passenger seat so I can give people rides :D Went down to the river bridge and snapped some pics.
Did a little pull in the first couple gears (2JZGTE VVTi, lightweight flywheel, ACT clutch, 17x8 rims with worn out tires)...
Made a stop at the truck weigh scales. 2JZGTE vvti swap. R154. 17x8 rims. Stock glass. Stock bucket seats. Stock bumper crash beams. Gutted interior. Lightweight flywheel. Few other minor things like holesaw holes and cut off brackets. No gas. No driver. 3090 pounds.
Well VVTi obviously is better. What will be included with the engine? The VVTi 2JZGTE will require a MAF and the correct ECU. Those can be hard to find in North America. But totally worth it for the sake of having VVTi :D I just got a VVTi swap done and I would recommend it. But also you would...
Made my turn signals work again. There was a 8 pin plug on the left kick panel and it had 5 black and white ground wires. It wasn't plugged into anything so I just cut it and soldered on some eyehole terminals and grounded them. I was happy to get that fixed today. I just got my car going after...
The heater core hose. I think I used a 90 degree elbow on both hoses. I used my 7MGTE heater core hoses on my 2JZGTE engine. It's simple man. Just get the correct size hose first. Enough of it to join the connections. Then if you get kinks in the heater hose when trying to join the connection...
