yep... thats what i'm getting at too. i'm trying to find thee best combo... should i decide to go the spring and damper route (do i sound like a broken record yet?). so, wheres a good place to purchase a wide variety of selction of suspension components for the A70?
i thought i read somewhere that the silencer for the Blitz Nur Spec doesnt realy harm performance. cus, thats what i have, the Blitz Nur Spec R with a BIC test Pipe and Cooleze Mega Mouth DP. so, with all that, would the silencer realy do that much harm to its performance?
i'll some day be real competitive with my car but thats from now. like i said before, i'm just weighing my options. i know a good set of coil-overs are far more superior than any spring/damper combo. i just wanted to get peoples opinion on what would be the best spring/damper combo... if i had...
decisions... decisions... so, for what i want to do, stay away from Eibach. what are the stiffest spring availible for our cars? and, to find a damper to handle it, thats the question.
how low is the drop? did you get the RSR Down or Race Springs? are the KYB's AGX's or GR2's? can you post up a pic of how your car stands with your set up?
i dont mind a stiff ride as long as the drop isnt too low. there hast to be enough room for complete suspention travel.
yah, theres probably a huge decrease in power and spool responce when installing the silencer. i guess the only benefit is a lower chance of getting a fix it ticket for having a "loud" exhaust...
i do plan on upgradeing all that is upgradeable in suspension. and, eventually, i'll be doing a lot of road course racing, slowly but surely. i just want to see what spring and damper combinations are over all best for our heavy cars... aside from going to the coil over route. just weighing my...
so, i did the retorque. everything worked out fine. my final torque is 75 ft lbs. i did it incraments but when i went from 70 to 75 the bolts didnt move, the torque wrench just clicked on each bolt. so, does that mean i my final torque is actually 70 ft lbs? should i have tried 80 ft lbs?
hmmm. so, 80 ft. lbs is a bit oo much for stock head bolts? what about 75ft. lbs? i read about a lot of people retorqueing to that value. is 75 ft lbs the magic value for retorqueing stock head bolts? i would use ARP hardware but only when its time for rebuild. i'll go to studs at that point. im...
from what i've been reading, i would just break loose the bolt and then torque it to final torque one by one in TSRM sequence. what would i torque them to, though? 80ft. lbs?
