damn... i tried that test and it looks like it isnt working properly (open at idle). this sucks! i dont want to fork out another $50-$75. i sould have just bought a Blitz or HKS...

okay... i'll give that a shot. but what if it isnt open at idle? is this why im running rich? would that mean i need more vaccume to the valve to pull it open durrig idle and cruising?

i dont know... im not sure if it is open open or not durring idle. i do know it does blow off boost, i can hear it and i have no compressor surge at all. i'm just trying to figure out why i'm idleing and cruising so rich.

i'm basicaly wondering if i could add another vaccume/pressure source to the valve for better operation? i dont think my bosch bpv is cracking open at idle or cruise conditions.

is there another/better vaccume source for the by-pass valve other than the normal one? because heres my theory... at idle or cruise it is said that the valve is slighty open; and only fully closes tight under hard acceleration. well, maybe i'm not getting enough vaccume to the bosch BPV for...

i went to the SAAB Dealer and told them i needed a charge air by pass valve for a 1996 SAAB 9000 turbo. payed around $75 after taxes.

no biggy... but my problem is still happening.

if you have some kind of aftermarket intake system you can hear a faint pshhh or something to that effect. i know i can hear mine pretty good. as far as sound goes, its just right in my opinion.

i checked the idle up line and thats good. and i replaced my acordian with a hard pipe, no cracks...

okay... thats all i needed to hear. these forums are just filled with great information, isn't it?

i need to get this right... is there any harm running a small filter on the ISCV to deleat the hose and tube to the acordian with out having any kind of speed density or MAF deleation system? thanks in advance.

i'm also back firing as if its venting out also. boosting 10-11psi.

mine is installed just as your is. i double checked all 4 clamps... no leaks. and, the valve is working as it should.

i trying to build my A70 for road race also. and, since my engine is running realy strong right now i'm just concentraiting on suspension. i would like to up grade every suspension component thats possible. whats the complete list of performance suspension components for our cars anyway?

i hear of some people using the Summit kits... i'm intrested in relocating my oil filter, too. where would one find a complete oil filter relocation kit specific to the A70?
