If the parts can be scourced at the parts store, it might make a better bet to list the parts required and sell the brackets and rings. More people will buy just brackets/rings as it is a cheaper start to this and find the rotors and calipers at a later time. I know thats about the only way I...
I drove my gte for about 6months on a light seeking rod and it never blew before I parked it. Still remember the day it happend, cruising down the highway at 70mph. I always watch the guages and watched the damn oil pump fail and I saw it go to 0psi for a couple of seconds and lo and behold...
just give me the car, it will cost u less.:evil2: seriously, take a real good look over it and fix anything it needs BEFORE the mods. otherwise u will have a brokedown modded supra and no money.
a 1j with an auto is alot of fun, but with a 3.73 rear gear it is a lil lacking. the 1j in my opinion is good for highways and thats it. just plain and simple, no low end. I swapped mine in without a clip and it was less than a clip cost in the end so its all in knowhow and prices. 7m still...
the SC's that I have dealt with just have been useless. The only one I was impressed with was the TRD kit for a Scion tC, but it comes with bigger injectors and a new ecu map.
Its a T100 4x4 which mine is alot more weight, at least 1000lbs more. Problem is I dont need a supper grabby clutch, just one that can slip a lil on take off and not wear supper fast or grab like crazy. I haul my supras on trailers everyonce in a while so it needs a a bit more power to it...
Kinda curious on input on something, what would be a good clutch for the 7m that is in a truck and used as a truck? Something I may build but still working out the details. I know a stocker just wont due with the added wieght of the vehicle plus pulling something every once in a while.
I know mine is charging @ 13.8V with all loads off if you wanna check it with that. Car just sits in the garage anyways. Try using an ohm meter on your fuses. I know they can look good and even send voltage across them but a crack can keep the load from going across.
Lets not bash Toyota techs either. It hurts my feelings. Maybe the gear got dropped into concrete in its life some time. Never trust a parts department......:nono:
I bought a 7mgte from tiger japanese once and it is a great engine. I only did it though because the old one had a catastrophic failure of epic perportions. Its just hit or miss realy.
