    Toyota ECU's in general usualy go to a baseline of -40 something so its dumping all that fuel for polar bear country. They are typicaly all wired the same its just a matter of finding one to plug the hole in the intake. You might try a 4 cyl 97-01 camry IAT, they fit into the airbox kinda like...

    There is some 1JZ-xx that is direct injected NA also that gets like 38mpg or something like that.

    Thats ruff, Ive never seen such a catastrophic failure in a supra. It does remind me of a time I saw a rod sticking out of an a\c compressor on a 5sfe camry. Im sorry for the loss.

    Difference in 87-88 and 89+ stock springs?

    My 87 sits higher than my 90 but I always said thats cuz my 87 sat more without an engine to settle the springs down. To further my theory on this, my dads 87 still has original engine and it sits low like my 90 so who knows. Eibach FTW!
