Just let the shop do it sense they will already have the car apart for flushing the a\c. Everything is a variable as to how you want your a\c, ambient temp, oil amount, freon amount, how well it was flushed, how well your compressor is, what shape the other parts are in, how well...

If it is colder than you could ask for why the HELL would you use the HC. If done well 134a can be colder than what you ask for. I got mine to38degrees on 134a.:3d_frown:

You realy cant beat the ebay hard pipes for the price, I got a set on mine with an ebay IC. the couplers will work for a while till you decide to have either pipes welded or better couplers. T -bolt clamps were realy cheap quality but work.

Just retrofit, I think r12 is about $65 a pound these days, r134a is still 4-6 bucks

a lil FYI, my 1jz non clip swap ended up costing me about $2800. That would build a heck of a 7m.

Mine did the same thing when the iac went out. resistance will be fine but its stuck and messing with the idle skrew makes things funny thats why it was later removed from the TB.
