where is the vacuum line from your BOV attached to? My guess is that its attached to the throttle body. Try the manifold instead.

I dont think that the ticking has anything to do with your performance problems. I do think its a shim adjustment problem or an exhaust gasket leak. Im sure you can differentiate between the two.

What I mean is that you have a .01% chance of finding a machinist with the equipment to make it smooth enough. They all say they can, but 99.99% of them cannot and you wont know it until you go to pick it up.

wow, I wish I would have seen this thread earlier - those cams actually look pretty good. I agree with IJ. There is nothing wrong with those cams. Most 7Ms, and I do mean most, will look exactly the same way. Lightly polish them and throw them back in.
