OK I see. You are measuring the front of the impeller instead of the aft portion. Im willing to bet that the back of the 67 measures 88mm. Otherwise known as the GT4088
I dont want to sound like a know it all, but I think you might have the nomenclature of the GT40 a bit mixed.
In your nomenclature, you refer to it as the GT4067. Everywhere else that I have seen refers to the GT40 as either an 82 or 88 mm wheel. IE: GT4082 or GT4088. Are you referencing a...
T series turbos suck. Get a GT series and quit wasting your time and $. You will never find a T series turbo that performs better than a comprable GT series turbo.
Some misinformation here. The GT series turbos are not built with T series turbines and impellers. The housings are similar, but the internals are different. GT series turbos have a completely different set of impellers.
A lot of people fail to realize that all of the "PT" and "SP" turbos etc...
if anybody lives near the coast give me a jingle when the ice caps melt and your house is under water - you can pitch your tent in my yard if you mow my lawn
I will continue to keep updating my progress here, but over on SF i have a pretty good source of advice so I tend to post a bit more. You can feel free to check out that thread as well. I have the same user ID.
My engine was scheduled to go out today from Miami. I sourced a NA 2jz with 65k...
Oil prices bottomed out in the 80's. Energy was cheap.
Arguing about it all is kind of a moot point anyway - everybody with a big gas guzzling vehicle will be feeling it really soon if they arent already. The market may help solve some of the problem but it certainly wont cure it.
Good idea - maybe BP can head it up:

Or maybe these guys can head it up now that they have a longer working season:

WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR is a movie. Thats why it was in italics. GM had absolutely no trouble selling the car. See the movie.
Why cant you plug in a hybrid when you get home? WTF?
I know it may be hard for some of you to believe, but sometimes things arent right or left.... they are...
Ive traveled around the world. Compared to other countries, we are wasteful. People drive things that are WAY more efficient and still get to their destination. Why does a new light duty pickup (Ford Ranger) get only 20mpg on a good day? The VW and Toyota diesel pickups of the early 80's got...
what do we have to lose? This is very arguable.
What do we have to gain? Economic benefits that go somewhere else besides oil and coal.
It doesnt seem that difficult to me.
Im not going to type out some long, tedious explination, because I know nobody will read it.
Forests are rapidly shrinking, the ocean is polluted, we are burning more and more forms of oil and coal every day. Levels of carbon dioxide are rising. The ice caps are shrinking. The earth is in a...
