I used ready rod with some washers and nuts. It didn't work. Lol that's when I said Fuck it and brought out the blue wrench.

I burnt mine out with a oxy/ace torch and then took a hacksaw to the outer shell (cut most of the way through), then an air chisel and lots of swearing and eventually it fell out.

If you bypass the j tube restriction in the fuel return line, theres no need to run an afpr running a walbro. I'm doing it right now on my DD.
An intercooler would probably be a smart idea, especially with the 57 trim.
Don't bother getting a bigger turbo if you're trying to stay mostly stock...

I should have used a 2.0 mm gasket, and I went with a 1.4 I believe. Boosted my compression to 9:1 and it flew! Until I swapped the motor into another car with another wiring harness with a whole rats nest of issues...

That's about how mine looked. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the picture being taken from top down makes it look worse than it is.
And the titan motorsports headgaskets are metal. Hks gaskets on titan motorsports are also metal.

That's a Metal head gasket. I wouldnt be too worried about the hg sealing with that deck surface. It looks smooth enough to me.
