did you try pressure testing the cooling system to find the exact location of the actual leak? (ie: the first thing you should do whenever you have a hard to find water leak...) those pictures really tell us nothing. it could be a hole, it might not be. but its impossible to say based off of...

yeah those are no good. toss em in the trash. but, if you hate to throw your money away like that ill be happy to take them off your hands. cash plus stock cam gears if youre interested.

i have a 7M head in excellent condition.

it gets HOT in ny in the summer. thats no problem for me though personally i love hot weather.

in all seriousness what you need to do is have a machinist inspect the block. no one call tell you over the internet if the block is safe to use.

stop everything youre doing and listen very carefully: PUT THE DREMEL DOWN! sell all your tools, and take the car to a competent mechanic!

Since just the other day ive been hearing a scraping noise that is noticeably loud on cold start up and quiets down, but still persists once the car has been running for a while. i believe this sound is coming from the ac compressor. some times, but not all the time, the noise will stop all...

oh i see what youre saying. ive tried it every way i could think of, it still grinds after even little bit of slipping. ive gotten used to it, its just that the other 6 pucks ive had never did this. oh well.
