    My 89 HKS Supra build

I'm thinking of ordering some carbon fiber wrap and wrapping my moldings.. No blue though!

    My 89 HKS Supra build

Mine was definitely far from rust free. If I did it all over again, I'd wait, that's for sure!

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Go with arp studs. Arp bolts are barely any stepet than stock, and don't provide any clamping improvement like studs do.

    My 89 HKS Supra build

The break up issue? My coils were junk, as well as my AFM.

    My 89 HKS Supra build

No I canNOT stand the offset on the cobra wheels. +25 does not suit this car well. One day I'll have them in +35 though. Perks of being a machinist

    My 89 HKS Supra build

The garage picture is honestly one of my favorites.. I wish I had a garage now to take a picture in! Hahaha. And really, don't worry about cluttering anything up! It's nice to see other people's stories. The wheels I'm running are eagle alloys, 17x8 in some random ass offset. It really suits...

    My 89 HKS Supra build

First and foremost, my goals with this car is an overall GOOD performer. Good in the straights, good in the curves, and good in long distance road trips. All while maintaining the idea that I built the car in the late 80s or early 90s. I.E. only old school tuners and the like. But, before we get...

    Initial Questions (Mostly about oiling)

You want a 0w30. The best way I can explain the reasoning behind this is as the temperature drops, the oil will thicken less with a 0w over a 5w, or a 5w over a 10w. More oil flow at cold start = less wear. And when it warms up it's nearly identical to a 10w30. Just don't go to a parts store...

I miss the good old days

Maxburn.. the whole forum goes silent for a year between iccs? Lol And silver mk3 I guess they are classics now. There's nothing new to be figured out with them.. you just build em and have fun. Although I still do like seeing a creative build lol

I miss the good old days

It just seems like nothing new is posted anymore. Everyone seems to have sold their supra, and moved on. either that or they're just being quiet. I tried being a part of the face book group... But they're just a metric ton of ass hats over there. What's going on??

    CT-26 durability during shipping

People on here typically sell junk parts. I've been bitten in the ass one too many times..

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

I'd replace the plug with a weatherpack.

Cold Starts Lean, Warm Up Enrichment Issue

No, the ecu energizes the cold start injection system with the STA signal.

Cold Starts Lean, Warm Up Enrichment Issue

I'm willing to bet the STA signal is not getting to the ECU. Check that circuit.

    Break up!

When I get home I'll ohm the tps. I used to have autolite coppers (forgot what number, but they were what everyone recommends. Now Im using NGK platinums for a 2jz as recommended by morganson. Either way, the break up was still there.

    Break up!

So, cliffs... Break up at 5500. Air fuel ratio is bang on. 10.2:1 ish. No codes, timings set properly, tps is set properly, cps is good, tps is brand new, known good igniter or afm doesn't change a thing. New hot coils doesn't change a thing either. I know 7m ECUs rarely fail... But I really...

    Break up!

So as long as the resistance is correct (mines around 160 ohms/pickup), and the air gaps are correct, the CPS should work fine? Square one I guess..
