Yep. It only has power with the key in the on position. And it uses the factory start switch so no issues with cold start and the alarm still functions

I think what would look the nicest would be to take the rubber strip off and wrap just the plastic bit, then replace the rubber strip.

Or maybe to start just do the center caps on the wheels and get some Toyota or TRD decals. That'd look pretty slick!
