it has been done i know of two ppl with the same exact setup, however there not on h&r springs, one is one stock and the other is on eibachs i believe, I doubt that ull be able to do it on h&r's since the drop is so low.

make sure u tell him that Ronald sent ya he owes me lol
i did a retrq and pinch the heafgasket on the retrq lol 0 miles on that,
again if you want to do it in a weekend. get a new stock headgasket, some arp bolts and trq them down per spec.
some say stock hg with arp hardware will hold till 425.
it all depends on the tune tho, detonation...
ok tubbie just tested a iscv in her bro's car and it worked 100% perfectly so will see what happens when i get it installed, should be be4 this weekend.
ok yes i checked and rewired my iscv connector, on the original connector most of the wires were exposed rite at the base of the connector. so i got a decent one from a spare hacked harness i have lying around splice that connector onto the harness. This was one of my 1rst ways to fix the...
heres an update
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89423
once my idle issue is fixed then off to the exhaust shop 2 finish my exhaust then get my 150 miles in on the new headgasket retrq and have some fun.
if the next iscv i get does not work then im bypassing the whole...
oooooo yea i got it now it only works when cranking and not running. thanks guys for the clearing up.
so would the above methods i listed, backing out the idle screw on a pre 89 throttle body or adjusting the linkage so the throttle body is slightly open would allow somebody to bypass...
ok maybe u mis understood my question or i worded it incorrectly,
this is what im trying to get at.
the ecu controls the iscv for the fast idle to warm up correct? now with no iscv there is no fast idle.
Also the cold start injector fires when the car is cold or below freezing to warm...
ok how would you guys bypass the iscv using the stock ecu? I would assume one way is it u have a pre 89 throttle body and use the adjustment screw to make the car idle. Another way is adjust the throttle lever so that the throttle body is slightly open when ur foot is off the gas.
not that i...
yes 51 comes on when its slightly cracked and goes away when its closed.
after doing some more work on the car i think its just that i have 3 faulty iscv
after i swapped in the 3rd iscv and it did the same thing. i decided to take one apart fully and inspect.
I took the first cover off...
i think he was just asking to make sure that when the throttle is cracked that it would register a code showing that the tps is working and the hac is prolly off that signal. I'm almost finish installing another iscv so will see what this one will do, this will be the 3rd.
going to check rite now i have a buddy here brought over another iscv that were going to swap and see what happens, i will let u know what happens when i check the code too
just came back in from outside, still has the same problem. if you start the car with the afm plugged in and plug it it does nothing, but if u start it with the afm unplugged it will try to idle at 500 hiccuppin running rich and if u plug it back in after it will return to 2500 rpm idle.
i saw...
guys cmon cant we all get along lol. idle issue help plz?
so the:
iscv
ecu
throttle body stop
all controlls the idle.
Its metered air and not a boost leak since its not running like crap.
did the video of me unplugging any of the sensors established anything?
IIRC if the afm is unplugged it...
Ill check for codes and see if it comes up again this code just comes and goes when it wants too. I wonder if its just from the battery + terminal not being on tight to cause it throw the code? i just it on to turn the car on then wen im done for the day i turn it off. to save my battery.
