i have a southbend 6 puck ceramic clutch disk and i dont like it very much. i holds just fine but it chatters a lot and if you slip it too much it over heats and makes a ton of noise and vibration.

if you stripped the threads then you almost definetly had the fitting cross threaded. believe it or not, i find the larger size fittings MUCH easier to assemble than say, -6AN fittings.

i did absolutely terrible. i couldnt get a good launch if my life depended on it. i did however get consistent 100mph+ trap speeds, and at a weight of around ~3700lbs that should mean im putting out a little over 300hp so im happy about that. over all i had a good time, looking forward to...

just keep it in mind that a lot of the replies you will get on any forum can be 100% bullshit posted by people who dont have an idea what they are talking about. there is nothing wrong with the hks FCDs. you just need the correct model for your application.
