helped a friend install this intercooler kit and wired up a spal fan this sunday. pics of that plus some other shots........
looked like a nice kit at first, save for the cheap ass worm clamps. the clamps turned out to be too small and the intercooler pipes were an EXTREMELY tight fit...
the PCV system was revamped with a new valve (the 2jz gte pcv valve is a replacement) and the breather on the passengers side valve cover changed location slightly on the turbos intake pipes.
FWIW, my 1jz has that issue addressed but my turbos whine a little, probably will blow in a few months...
thats a great way to ruin your torque wrench.
if the nuts get stripped youll either have to cut them off, or get the special socket for removing stripped bolts.
you could also try an easy out bit.
well i must say that this is an inspirational mkiii. whether you keep it or not, i hope you pride your self in knowing that you had a great example of what a mkiii should be.

i think he means that if it fails it will fail open, instead of being able to fail close which could ruin the engine.
