I bought Wiseco's, but I really can't say if they're good or bad, as I've never started the engine.
I CAN say that they haven't rattled ONE BIT so far... lol.
That broken wire is why.
The switch will be just a white plastic plunger, and the wire connects to the bottom.
And i can pretty much gaurantee you that if you pull that black(green i guess)wire over to the ebrake handle, it will touch the switch.
It cant be any farther away than that, right? Lol.
Um. That switch is right there in your second pic.
The one with the black wire going towards it, but it's ripped off? That one.
Edit- oops, the switch isnt in view, but it does look like the wire is disconnected. Do you get a brake light on when you pull up the Ebrake?
Just bought 25sq. Ft. Of GTmat quadro sound deadening material.
I've decided to remove the rest of the oem floor material, so i can verify that there's no corrosion under there.
Also, there should be enough to apply to the hatch floor area as well.
Lol yeah. I bought a jdm front lip from that guy for a good price, and he emails me, asking if i also want the rear sunshade.
I said, well how much? He says since he could ship them together, he'd give me a special price: $675!
I laughed out loud when i read that, emailed him back, sayin um...NO...
I would guess the small 90 degree coolant elbow on the back of the head, on the passenger side.
Course, it could also be the heater core hoses, either the one coming out of the top of the head, or the one on the drivers side.
I actually thought that the oem deadening material looked quite impressive- 3-layer, asphalt/jute/ashphalt...considering it was made in the 80's...
I will be replacing mine, but only because i had to fix some metal underneath.
I don't believe you can access the sender through the trunk. You can only access the two harness plugs(pump and sender)through that panel.
Once that's done, you can remove the tank. Other things that need to be disconnected:
Fuel vent line
Fuel return line
Fuel feed line, either at- the...
So, I just ordered a Lotek 2-gauge A-pillar , because I finally have my gauge plans figured out. As it turns out, I think it'll simplify some of my other components as well.
Wideband unit:
PLX DM-6 touchscreen display, with AFR sensor unit:
The DM-6 is a touchscreen display, with...
I get that. That's how it always was for me, too.
Changing out a cylinder head in a parking lot, Or dremeling something on a huge extension cord, running out the front door of my apartment...
Yeah, sounds alot easier if i just leave an O2 sensor in situ, and just hijack the signal input.
OR... Just not use the narrowband feature of the wideband unit at all, i suppose...
