    Reign's back, minus Reign's Angel...

Even though I don't really know you I feel your pain, I'm going through the same thing myself, married 6yrs and just filed paperwork today. Crazy how things end up... As you mentioned, friends and family are about the only things that make it bearable. Supras are a nice distraction as well...

    post up your bike!

Just got my first street bike (used to race motocross) a few months ago, '92 Yamaha Seca 2 600cc, bought it off mobes here on SM: Has a D&D full exhaust, jetted, K&N etc. Jon completely stripped it and painted everything, looks awesome and I got a sweet deal. Fun, comfortable bike that's...

The $2008 Grassroots challenge build-up thread

MS isn't that bad, we had the Festiva wired and running in a few weeks and none of us had ever wired a car or messed with engine management. Plus you can get a MS-I kit for <$150 and have full tuning control vs alot more for MAFT (not SAFC necessarily) with less control. That said, I'm...

Congrats on actually making it there and finishing! That's a win itself. We'll be there next year with the Festiva, hopefully with turbo and nitrous :)

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Thanks for all the comments! The sandwich plate is working fine, haven't had any leaks or anything and the turbo is getting plenty of oil. As far as cost, I've got alot of extra stuff so my total is inflated, but I don't think it would be unfeasible to do it for <$3k, especially if your 7M...

Throttle cable for 2jzge stock manifold?

You can also just use a bicycle brake cable and use the fittings off of your stock 7mgte cable to connect to the throttle pedal. Cut the cable and sheathing to length and then solder a nut on the throttle cable end to give the pedal something to pull against and you're good to go.

Hrm, not sure if I've got space anywhere lower than the tank, seems like the check valve should keep the line full of fuel (plugged straw effect) so I'm assuming that would be just as good as having it below the tank, or no?

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

That's no good, guess I'll keep my fingers crossed. I went with the Bosch because of all of the bad Walbro stories, guess Aeromotive is the best way to go...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Crap, didn't even think about that. Guess it might be a good idea to put a check valve in there, was also thinking an inline filter before the 044 might be useful too. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=AEI-15106&N=700+115&autoview=sku Little spendy, but I guess...

Got the rail welded up, Boost Logic has some badass cars. They were dynoing a MKIV with a 3.4L stroker in it while I was there, 500ft-lbs by 4500 rpms  They were at about 760rwhp at 25psi on a GT74 when I left and Justin was still tuning...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Got the suspension done and a few other odds and ends and then Jon came over and we wired up the SAFC and fuel pump. Luckily I decided to pressure test the fuel system before reassembling everything as there were a few leaks. Couldn't get my new feed on the rail to stop leaking and ended up...
