    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Yea, it's alot better now at idle and cruise. The ECU freaks out a little every time the ratio of gas to E85 changes since o2 sensor readings change, but it smooths out over time as it learns. Had the same problem on the Escort, alot better once I got all the gas out of the tank and was...

Don't have to worry about how it looks when all anyone can see is your tail lights :naughty: Car kicked ass this weekend, no issues other than some ignition breakup (gonna close the plug gap from .026 to .022). Breaks 'em loose in 2nd as soon as the boost kicks in :evil2: Pics and crappy...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Woot, passed emissions on the first try! It was close but I scathed by on the rough tune. One of the tech's took some pics of my engine bay too which was pretty cool. Also got a free carwash/vac/interior clean, figured I'd take a couple pics since this is the cleanest it's ever been and...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

If I reduce fuel pressure it stays the same at first and then will lean out more as I get closer to 25psi. I was thinking about adjusting the idle with the SAFCs low thrtl settings using a 0% set point but I've heard that causes issues because it interpolates between there and the hi point...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

So question-I can't get my idle richened up anymore by adjusting fuel pressure. I've got it set at about 45psi with the vac line off (remember, E85 with 680cc injectors) and my idle afr is ~18:1, if I go higher the AFR actually gets leaner. Any ideas?

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Woot! Laptop worked flawlessly this morning, guess someone was just trying to tell me to get my ass to bed lol. I'm a little loopy from only 3hrs of sleep but I could care less. Did WOT runs in 3rd and tuned all the way to work today, pullin like a freight train at 10-11psi. Goin to the...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Car is running pretty damn well now, needs mo tunin' though. Put a tank of E85 in and tweaked the AFC some while I could actually see AFRs etc. Tried 4 different combos of laptops and usb to serial adapters and was able to get a little bit of tuning done but it took long as shit (yes it's...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

LOL Jay, 17psi would probably = BHG again so I'll stick with 12 for now:) I'm using an LC-1. Think I figured out the issue, it goes into a calibration when it first comes up if power is disconnected and I immediately started the car and probably fubared the cal. Unfortunately I couldn't get...

Got rid of the codes, holy crap 12psi is awesome :D Took a trip around the block and though my clutch was slipping until I realized that it was the tires spinning through 2nd :biglaugh: 12psi >> 8psi fer sure My wideband is acting up, going to let it sit overnight and calibrate tomorrow and...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Had a thought (I know, scary) on the way to work today, I wonder if the AFC lost it's AFM setting when my battery was disconnected and that's what's throwing the AFM code. Have to czech it out when I get home. Seems like it was running in limp mode, hopefully clearing up the 2 code issues will...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Got the sensor and bolts, my new goal is to have it running and hopefully inspected by the cruise Saturday. Tuning is now a bonus lol, although it shouldn't take long with the AFC. On another note, went to a classic bike show this weekend and got the bug. May be buying my buddies' cafe'd '72...

Haha, not yet unfortunately. Broke the damn temp switch trying to put the wire on it because I'm a moron and forgot to hook it up before I put the upper intake on :( Hopefully I can get one tomorrow dammit. After that just need some longer bolts for my lexus afm and I should be good to go...
