if its the one im thinking on, which is also found on 1g eclipses... then theres no reason to switch from stock. and why not put it in the other fog light hole? thats makeing the lines a lot longer than they have to be.
are you sure your timing is right... if your "backfiring" through the intake manifold than your intake valves are opening during the combustion stroke... sounds like you dont have the cams right...
+1 on that
or when you drive by an outdoor resturant and you see all of the kids just staring at you. I want my car to be "known" around where i live, i want people to FEAR my car. Not just drive up next to me thinkin there hot shit, i wanna crush them. haha
oh and its fun! :biglaugh:
I was wondering the same thing, and i would PM DrJonez and talk to him about it, but this is what he told me.
There are quite a few benefits. Here's what the MAFT Pro does that the MAFT gen. 2 doesn't:
-speed/density conversion
-datalogging
-boost control
-timing monitor and control...
the "heat barrier" gaskets make sense to me... excpet the one my friend bought for his 4g63 was HORRIBLE quality, i had to enlarge more than few holes for it to fit right. I wasnt happy when i went to bolt it on. and it was made by JMFab (which is suppose to be a "great" vendor)
And i dont...
shit... when ya put it that way i see your point.
wouldnt it be easier and quieter to run dual MK4 TT pumps? or just an inline fuel pump like an A1000 (i think)?
you are my hero! that CF manifold is looking INSANE. I thought i had seen it all between Ron and IJ... but now this... supras defintaley get the best 1 off custom parts... haha
frame is probably bent back there... and just looking at the front panel lines that you can see, looks like everything is kinda twisted... more work than its worth to "restore" it...
lsd or no?
"what do you drift man"
"i got me a 1987 supra turbo 100% stock"
"no fuckin way man"
"yeah but it has so much power i drifted into a curb and fucked it up"
hahahaha... the fact its so stock makes me laugh.
nice color though. minus the homo interior...
higher psi = smaller wastegate
lower psi = bigger wastegate
why? because say on a gt35r... you only want 7psi, that means when your going WOT you have to have all of those gases trying to spool the turbo go out the wastegate instead, now if you were pushing 25psi, you have WAYYYYY more of...
you bought a head off of ebay... you should measure the thickness of it too just to see how much they have really cut off.
and check it for flatness. if its not flat, then i'd defintaley start bitchin.
