    Quick measurement question:

Does anyone happen to know the length of the stock, unmolested gearshift lever, from socket to top of threads? If anyone happens to have a shifter sitting out on a shelf, I'd really appreciate the info. Thanks.

    Running rich as #@*&

This is just a shot in the dark, but it seems like it would make sense in your case, and due to the fact that you've had your motor all apart: Boost leak.

    Hood scoops

    No, That's a hood scoop off a 1st gen 300zx, 84-85 I think. '77-'78 280z had recessed louver-type hood scoops. I used the same scoop as you ON my '78 280z, with a '75 hood.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

Dont know. Just know that its an M14 to -6 adapter. Summit and Jegs don't have any physical dimension info on it. I can say that the two crush washers fit properly with the FPD.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Iruyle's doing climate control mods too? lol cool. Today I fabbed my catch can mount next to the ps reservoir, and worked on the support braces for my rear deck. Yesterday, I paypal'd Kevin M. for a set of 6.5" speaker pods. Looking forward to installing those.

What did you pay for paint work?

I think he meant trim remove and reinstall, not replace.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

So today, i spent a bit of time creating some supports for the rear deck cover. Being that it sits about a half inch higher than it used to , I needed to make 1/2" posts to support it, otherwise the hinges would take all of the weight if I were to put anything heavy back there. Here you can...

I'm just hoping that the DG500 is at least as "TCCS friendly" as the IS300 seems to be.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I sent GrimReaper an is300 coil and some dg500 coils, for testing. Hopefully he'll have some interesting performance info for us next week.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

So today, all I did was pull the fan motor housing, to make sure it was clean. It was, but the top seal was a bit dried out, so I replaced it, along with a new blower resistor. Then I reinstalled the AC core, and reconnected the lines. Next, I want to vacuum the lines, to...

    Here's a question, go figure right.lol

I think of a 'dump' as the wastegate exit. if that gas doesn't return to the exhaust(aka- dumped), that's less turbulence and backpressure in the piping. Any hole in the exhaust post wastegate is just a reduction of gas in the entire exhaust. Is it a performance increase? Prolly not.
