Great to meet you too! Didn't get to dyno, they bumped us lowly MKIIIs for some high hp MKIVs that showed up late. Ran a 13.2@110 today though, which by the online calculator puts me at about 400rwhp. Good luck getting your car on the road!

    engineering jobs anyone?

Just my $.02-make sure you're interested in auto design and not just tinkering/modifying. Also take advantage of the variety available in college and explore as many different areas of engineering as possible while you have the opportunity. There are alot of fascinating areas of engineering...

    TX2K9 who's going?

Anyone know if you can pay the entry fees with a credit card? Working on a deal on another bike (aka supra distraction) and I need all the cash I can get my hands on :)

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

I'm in knock sensor hell... Started throwing the code a little more regularly over the weekend so I went ahead and rewired in case I had an intermittent connection. Finished Saturday night and drove around some and the CEL came back, ugh... Sunday me and the lady decided to take a cruise and...

Seems everyone is scrambling at the last minute as usual! I will have a car full of parts and tools, including a spare driveshaft if my M/Ts end up hooking too well :)

    2JZ NA-T into MK3

My 880s are loud as hell, I thought I'd dropped a valve or something when I first put them in lol. Between that and the 044 pump under the hood my car sounds like it's falling apart... Engine looks nice, that FFIM is sweet! That's one thing I'd eventually like to do, taking 2hrs to swap spark...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Drove around some more at lunch (~15mins or so) and the CEL never came on and car seemed to be running fine. This is without clearing the codes. Guess I need to drive it around some more and see WTF is going on...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Well there goes my theory :) I'm honestly not sure what it could be then, tried 2 different ECUs with the same result, guess I can try swapping sensors. For such a simple circuit these things sure are a huge PITA...

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Did a little bit of messin' over the weekend but I've been pretty sick. Lymph node on the right side of my neck is all swollen and sore, fun stuff... Tested all of my knock sensor wiring, no shorts to ground, all the connections look ok. The only thing I noticed is the resistance from the...

    TX2K9 who's going?

Don't I know it, I fought with that sucker quite a bit when I first got the car running. This time it's my own fault for not being careful with my wiring, damn heater core...
