    2jzge-T swap notes and pricelists

That sucks man, I've had my pay cut (and it looks like I will again in the coming months) but I'm thankful to still have a job. Good friends will get you through anything, glad you're getting your Supra back on the road at least!

    2jzge-T swap notes and pricelists

The 2jzgte intake manifold doesn't bolt to the ge head, few people have used custom FFIMs though. I'm not sure you can run a 2jzge off 1jz electronics, your best bet would probably be a 1.5jz (1j head on a 2j bottom end).

    2jz-ge-t + gt4088 = under 6 grand budget...

Lookin good! I'm impressed that you used a real turbo and an FFIM and are still in under $6k!

    Dok's E85 powered 2jzge-T build

Figured I'd post an update for anyone still watching :) Bumped the fuel pressure and took care of the lean issue, looks like some 1000cc injectors are in my future though... Also picked up a new wastegate that will hopefully work better than the one that's currently on the car. Been doing...

91 Escort GT / Miata build

Looks like a nice project! I had a SOHC Escort wagon that I budget turboed and put down 180whp/230ft-lbs and am now building a BP w/turbo powered Festiva. Subscribed :D

    Project Eat My 2jz! (56K? Don't Bother.)

Woot! PS-your coil pack looks like it's mounted a little crooked :biglaugh:

    Dok's POS Truck Project

Just got the deal of the century! Went and looked at the bed and 22re and struck up a deal with the guy--$200 for the motor with accessories, sensors etc., bed, 2 w56s (one pops out of first), a transfer case, wiring harness, bumper, pretty much the whole bed is full of parts and he hauled the...

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

Haven't dynoed, but I'd estimate 400-450whp at the 19psi I'm running right now. I ran a 13.2@110 at 16psi and picked up ~30mph in the 2nd 1/8th so it pulls pretty good on top. Can't beat it for the relatively small amount of $$ I've got into it :D

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

Yea, turning the boost down for now, just figured I'd give it a shot :) I'm actually surprised at how well the car runs with the 7M electronics, I have to pull the EFI fuse at reset the ECU at every fillup because of the variability in E85 mixtures, but it adjusts quickly and runs well after a...

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

It'll hit fuel cut, just doesn't get any richer afr wise. Not sure if that changes things... Bumped the fuel pressure today and the AFRs on top look good now, even at higher boost. Got a couple other projects to jump on but hopefully I'll get back to messing with it in the next couple of weeks.

    Dok's POS Truck Project

Nah, keep it simple and carb'd. Runs pretty good as-is aside from the rod knock, I might eventually put a weber 32/36 on it...

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

Thanks for all the replies and good information! For now I've decided to lower the boost a couple psi (been seeing perfect 12:1 AFRs in 4th) and will be putting some 1000cc injectors in as a safety measure once I find a deal on a set. The car is fast as crap, to me at least, but still...

    Dok's POS Truck Project

No new pics, but I found a 4x4 bed and a used 22re for $400 delivered! Going to check everything out Saturday...

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

It's a little on the lean side under boost, less than 12:1 is about where you want to be

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

Thanks for all the replies. The walbro is brand new and as 10secdream mentioned all it's doing is filling the surge tank at low pressure, which is one thing a wally is actually good for :biglaugh: I'll try bumping the FP up some and see where that gets me as well. My estimate was made...

    My Korean Supra distraction

Wohoo, risers, bikemaster superbike bars, and stompgrips: New bars should be alot easier on the back than the clipons. New rear rotor and tire are on, braided brake lines are on the way, MC line didn't reach on the new bars so what the hey. Ready to get 'er done and ride again!

    Dok's POS Truck Project

Did a little investigating tonight, drained the oil and found some small shavings, definitely needs at least a crank kit. Good news is the compression is solid 160-165-170-165 and the head and timing chain look like they've been replaced recently. There's also a leak at the front of the...

    Running lean (12.5:1) above 5500rpms

Sorry in advance for the novel....Troubleshooting a lean condition about 5500rpms on my 2jz NA-T and was hoping I could get some suggestions. I'm running 7MGTE electronics with the Lex AFM/SAFC combo. My fuel system is fairly overbuilt as I'm running E85-I have a walbro in-tank feeding a 2...

    Dok's POS Truck Project

I'm tempted and was even thinking about finding another 2jzge, but the main purpose of buying it was to have something cheap that gets decent gas mileage so I've resisted so far :)
