Cryo, and I can think of at least ONE way the MKIII is NOT superior. Weight. The MK2 isn't a piggy like the MKIII and I understand the more hp you put into a 7M, the less that weight seems to matter...however you need less hp in a mk2 to move it faster than that mk3...

It's unfortunate it doesn't have a title, that is a HUGE deterrant to people. Not only is the car going to sit until the title situation clears, it has to sit until the engine is replaced as well and most people don't like towing lawn ornaments :(

Wow, you're on crack, LOL Whatever, an opinion is an opinion and you have a right to yours, even if it's a bit off. It's cool that you think that car is worth only $1,500 even with a 5M. And it's also cool that you think the labor of putting the 7MGTE/auto in that car was $0 as well.

hardtop isn't FTL when someone wants that extra 2" headroom or wanting to flog the car in the twisties, having extra stability over a sunroof car. auto isn't FTL for lazy people or building boost off the line ;)

A question from a dumb N/A girl.... how does white smoke = blown turbo seals? I was under the impression that oil burns BLUE and not white. White smoke is water, ATF and brake fluid. :confused:

Troof. I have gotten 4 freebie mk2s, including a hardtop L-type. Sadly that car didn't run and I couldn't get it to or I would have flipped it for a decent profit. I've never spent more than $1,000 buying the other 5 Supras, but then they were all high mileage rusty POS'. ...but you can...

#1. it's a hardtop car, rare and well sought after #2 the car itself is in great condition... bodywise, paint, interior, wheels, etc. #3 it has a 7MGTE in it, done RIGHT. NO wiring hackjob no BS, just a clean swap. It's nowhere near "damn stock", the engine in itself makes the car not stock...

Ha. Well I should be getting some help today to determine whether it is the cable, cluster or the drive gear in the transmission. If it's one of the 1st two, I can hopefully get that replaced before Saturday... if it's the drive gear.... well I'll fix that by getting another transmission...
