Uh All JDM ECUs should have speed cut at 115mph; 5M, 6M, 7M, 3SGTE, 1JZGTE, etc. 6MGEs are only JDM, so of course their ECU has speed cut. Sorry for the confusion.

Well, I have no choice in running an EGR now. Not only do I have a JDM intake plenum that doesn't have the porting for an EGR, but the cylinder head's EGR port in the back was welded up (was like that before I got ahold of it) See: For me, I see not having an EGR merely as cleaning up...

Well, I know it's not the same but... I am running the stock US 5M ECU in my car now, but I am planning on buying back my JDM 6M ECU shortly.... will let you all know if there's any noticeable difference. I may also test them with a wideband to see if there's any change. edit, LOL Kyle...

I don't have an EGR, and I don't care what anyone says about it. Hope to pass easy Washington emissions soon :)

^that's a caca attitude. It's not the best idea to go into a dyno with an n/a car and expect a ton of hp, sure, but dynos aren't strictly for hp wars. It will give you a good idea of the engine life, whether it's dying or still healthy, and how your a/f is doing and all that goodness. I...

Most beat ass 7MGEs seem to put out 140-150whp. I don't see why a nicely freshened 7MGE cannot put out 160-170whp stock, a decent header & exhaust should be 15-20hp addition, bringing it pretty close to 200. For people tossing performance parts on 150,000 mile engines, you're not going to see...
