Which is why I am gutting my already light mk2. :)

    power from a NA 7m

Maybe for your pansy ass valves :p Seems to me that if the 7M head does flow more than the 5M head, why wouldn't it want to flow more out? As well as in also? My 5M liked the header, just as much as my high comp 6M does. Neither has/had head work.

    power from a NA 7m

$500 last I checked..... got to call Greddy USA with the part number.... only thing is that it is specifically for a 5M/6M which means it may interfere with 7MGE components. Perhaps it would hit the distributor, I have no idea :[ And the one I have is the only one I know about in the...

    power from a NA 7m

AFAIK Trust headers have the biggest diameter (1 5/8) primaries from the headers I've seen, he should use them ;) Should be dynoing my 6M very soon.... we'll see....

    power from a NA 7m

You'd probably be close to 300hp (at the crank!) if you bored and stroked the 7M out to a 3.3 liter, LOL

    power from a NA 7m

Well to help break in the rings we ran up to 50 and let the engine decelerate to 30 or so, then acclerated back to 50 and back down repeatedly at varying speeds and rpms for a few miles. Then for the next 100 miles I tried to keep doing that, say in 3rd gear 4000rpms then decelerating. But after...

    power from a NA 7m

haha, I've been flogging my car for the whole break in process. Probably have about 750 miles on it now or so (odometer wasn't working for the first couple hundred)

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

My heater blower didn't work, then I broke one of the metal pipes off the heater core trying to get the hose off when I did the engine swap. So...bye bye useless dead weight! I may eventually go manual windows, but I doubt I'll have the patience enough to scour yards for Celica parts to make...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

I'm happy with the comforts I do have. It's not like I traded out my wannabe Recaros with milk crates! I thoroughly enjoy driving my car. My only complaint is that I don't have a radio yet. My whole goal is to run mid-high 13s in this thing. I watched a flat black POS mk2 with a grungy...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

lol, Iwasn't really refering to my personal comfort either. I obviously wouldn't have "survived" if I was driving around with fogged windows crashing into everything. CRacking the windows just a couple inches helps a lot. And I was just given an idea recently to buy a defrost strip to put along...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

Nope. I prefer to live my life stubbornly. Made it through a winter in NY with no heat, and made it through summers in South Florida in a black car with no a/c. I can deal :)

    boneyard find

pre-89 white mk3 in the lakewood PAP on 112th. as of today the 7MGE was completely intact, minus the plastic intake tubing, everything else is there. car is a 5 speed with 276,000 miles on odometer thought I would post it here before it gets completely trashed (engine actually looks fairly...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

Someone keyed the car before I got it :( Everyone tells me how great my car looks on forums, but I manage to hide a lot of flaws in the angles of my pics. The car has numerous small dings and that horrible key mark. She needs bodywork and a repaint someday, probably next year if I am...

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

Uh yeah, probably wouldn't have ripped out the heat if I was in Canada. Washington realy doesn't get horribly cold. I don't think it really gets below 30 much.

    I lost over 20lbs in 4 hours!

Since my blower never worked, and I accidentally broke the heater core a few months back, I decided to just rip it all out and leave it out. CONTRARY to popular belief :sarcasm: I can make it through winters without it. I did it in New York with my white '83, and Washington is a lot easier to...
