Correct, the supra no longer has anything associated with the cable drum brakes. Im running 324mm all round with nissan calipers and also saved 15 kg in the process. As u can see this isnt a street car.
is anyone able to help with the original problem??
has any1 here installed a hydraulic handbrake in their mk3?
after installing mine, i find that the foot brake pressurises the handbrake master so that it looks up the rear brakes.
im not sure if thats due to the adjustment on the HB piston/master or if supras have some fancy brake master...
i took the cheap option of removing stuff from my supra to make it lighter.
its a pure track car and the safety isnt up there with a street car since ive remobed the bumper supports etc etc but has a 6 point bolt in cage and all up, my car weights 2640 lbs with full tank of fuel

i just bought myself some 17 x 10.5" rims
what is the fattest possible tire i could run with a stock widebody mk3 with nicely rolled guards and ever so slight pump.
i dont want to run stupid abounts of camber so somewhere between 0 - -1 degree is fine
wheels are plus 50 offset so...
running skyline 2 pot rears and 324 mm rotors
same deal as front where the whole pad area is used but not the whole disc area given that they are designed for 300mm rotors.
im not fussed at $1000 for
skyline front 4 pots (50% worn endless pads)
skyline rear 2 pots (10% worn endless...
im pretty sure its an older style trd lsd
thats the conclusion i came to anyway
all the newer style lsd are machined housings not cast
my mate bought an identical looking lsd as a 'trd 2 way' also
has anyone successfully mounted a 3 way pedal box such as a tilton, in their mk3 supra.
i am semi interested in a floor mounted pedal box but due to the shape of the floor pan - can not see it working
unfortunately the build up was pretty much already done b4 i posted on this forum so theres not really much to update and when i do - its nothing to exciting :(
this should change however when im ready to go built motor and weld in cage
hey attended a skidpan/track day the otherday - had an absolute ball. the brembos feel at home for once. its scary driving it around town on everday commuting knowing im eating through 600 dollar pads and god know how much for rotors
