I just don't think it matches/compliments the interior correctly. Our interior has rounded edges and kind of curvy. The box just looks out of place to me. Both in color and in shape.

Where was the clunk coming from? Obviously someone had been in there before. When you removed the carrier bearing bolts, do you remember if the washers were between the bolt head and the carrier bearing housing or between the housing and the body? How did you reinstall it? Did you inspect...

I got my gauge box back from powder coating. Here are some pics with the gauges installed and with a test fit in the car. Yes...I know the car is dirty... I'm not sure that I like it... Anyone interested in buying a Gauge Box...? :(

1417.75 hz on the Freq. Out Signal. Fuel cut is 1.7 khz so I wouldn't think it was that. Good thinking though... Yeah, race gas has been a common suggestion. I'll see about doing that. Thanks for the reply Jim!
