you don't need the resistor pack if you are using the jdm 2jz 440s because they are high impedence injectors. how ever you will need a resistor pack if you are going to use any low impedence injectors.
the difference is the cams, ignition system, pistons, no oil squrits, waterpump and a couple others things i didn't list. it is possible to make 600 hp w/ the right turbo kit but its recommended to change the headgasket. but searching will give you more answers
fuel pump wise, you should change it right away, it helps so you don't run lean in the high rpms. it would be pretty much like the 7mgte. for the injectors i was told anything more than 550s is recommended to be changed but i've seen people run 680s up to 880s on the stock fuel rail if it is...

if you just get bic motor mounts sold by bicperformance or driftmotion you won't need a crossmember swap. also a 1j soarer will work like the 1j supra, i have a 1j soarer in my mkIII
