Thanks for the mini-review Crisp. :) It's great to hear that there's headway on your ride. I think given the right circumstances, you might be able to alter the rotation of the earth when you mash that pedal! ;) As far as brakes go, I spoke at length with two individuals. One was an...

Don't you be jinxing me! ;) I plan on getting a 4 Piston Wilwood Kit. After talking with a couple of brake specialists, I decided against the 6 Piston Kits.

WhiteMike's Build up. Finally. (Click and wait, 56kers Go home)

That's terrible news Mike! I still have an opening up here! I can't make any promises; but, if you're willing to have two Black 91's in the same town, shoot me your resume! On a lighter note... The bay is looking SWEET! :)

Couldn't agree more! The truth of the matter is that it's hard to let go of $1k plus at once. Which sadly, is why it hasn't been done yet. :( The brake kit is something I won't be skimping on because I plan to track the car a couple times a year. If only some long lost Warbucks relative...

    Cam Tuning Help/Info

Are you going to be talking with them anytime soon? (I don't want to hassel them if you are ;)) If not, I might give them a call. My dyno appointment is getting here quick and I'd like to have a handle on this before then.

    Cam Tuning Help/Info

Thanks for the post Van. That is good info and sort of jives with the info that I received. I'm still having a hard time wrapping my brain around why adjusting the cams would alter engine timing. Especially Intake Cam adjustments. Being that the exhaust cam drives the CPS, I can see how...

    Cam Tuning Help/Info

I am headed to the dyno this Saturday and need some insight. I was conferring with some Dyno/Tuning Gurus in regards to tuning cams. They mentioned a couple of things that I hadn't come across in my reading nor had I heard before. They mentioned the following: 1.) Once the cams have...

Thanks Crisp. Yes, I have the AEM Kit. Last year they were running a sale on them and I couldn't pass it up. Installation details are certain. There is hardly any water/meth tuning info out there so I plan on tracking and posting findings in that regard as well.

Well, it's one of those deals where I've had the water/meth kit sitting under my bed for like a year and I just haven't got around to installing it. Soon though! :) Hmm...it sounds like someone wants to race. :biglaugh:

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

What a deal Dave! I've only had one BHG and that was enough! :) Thanks for the confidence builder regarding the o'rings. Heater Core replacement is not high up on my "Fun" list of things to do. Good luck tomorrow!

Ok. Here it is all said and done. I ended up removing the rear timing cover screws that are directly behind the gears. With all other screws in place, there is VERY little cover movement. While it was idling, I pulled, bent, and flexed on the rear timing cover and it never even came close to...
